Whether in a spacious house or in a small and cramped one, some corners of the house may appear dark and stuffy. This is often caused by the poor allocation of space, sometimes by the use of colors or furniture that does not fit the room. Then, what should you do? Before thinking of moving out, try discovering the main problem and solve it appropriately at once.
Today we present a project that meets all these requirements. We were in Rome, studying more closely this work by EF Archidesign.
Children’s Bedrooms
A touch of bright and neutral colors is the key to this convenience bedroom where white and wood color blend with red and light blue. This room feels more cheerful and bright, yet simple and not overdone.
Warm and Welcoming
This is the room we see first when we enter the apartment. Before being renovated, this room seemed narrow and cramped. Now, it becomes brighter and airy with the installation of windows in some specific spots, the use of bright color for the darkest corner of the room, and the addition of green elements around it.
Lounge
The sitting room, now, also looks more open and airy. The white walls here present a bright and relieved impression. Look at the combination of white with a contrasting wood floor. This arrangement makes the room more characterized and friendly. The room decoration in this room is reduced to create a minimalist layout and make some open space.
Kitchen
An open access with no door connects the sitting room to the kitchen. The white color still dominates this room layout. There is a number of furniture with an elegant and artistic character, a combination of rustic and modern style. Steel elements become alternatives to white in this kitchen. We can find it on the smoke holes, kitchen walls, and the back of the chair.
Main Bedroom
Simplicity becomes dominance in this bedroom. A bed with two small bedside tables are the only furniture here. The combination of neutral color with wood elements makes the bedroom feel more comfortable..
Main Bathroom
The main bathroom is spacious and tidy, modern but still simple. This space is enhanced by the addition of a large mirror with a unique frame. The bathroom furniture are all white and simple. The shower area is done with glass walls so that the bathroom seems spacious, while the air and the light will transfer through the window.
The Other Side of the Bathroom
Besides shower, this bathroom also has a small bathtub. The bathtub is placed on the other side of the bathroom that has a sloping roof. A small window is installed over the bathtub as a ventilation. Really perfect!
The Small Bathroom
The look of the second bathroom in this apartment is more lively, thanks to the mosaic tiles that cover half of the walls. Unlike the main bathroom, this small bathroom is equipped with wooden floor that makes this area feel more warm and friendly.
